HKM series are suitable for proportional control in automatic control loops that the system rate of change is relatively high, and high accuracy continuous modulation is necessary. When modulating applications require increase rates of starts per hour, the HKM actuator ranges can be operated up to 1200 starts per hour providing the average torque required by the valve in mid stroke does not exceed 33% of the rated torque of the selected actuator.
