1. Make the type and performance of the selected pump meet the requirements of process parameters such as flow rate, head, pressure, temperature, cavitation flow rate and suction distance of the device.

2. Medium properties must be met.

For pumps transporting inflammable, explosive, toxic or precious media, reliable shaft seals or leak-free pumps are required, such as magnetic drive pumps, diaphragm pumps and shielding pumps.

For pumps transporting corrosive media, corrosion resistant materials are required for convection components.

For pumps transporting solid granular media, wear-resistant materials are required for convection parts, and cleaning liquid is used for shaft seals when necessary.

3. Mechanical reliability, low noise and low vibration.

4. The total cost of equipment, operation, maintenance and management should be taken into account economically.
